About Us as a Premier Breeder

At Playful Pals, we take pride in being a distinguished breeder of Mini Goldendoodles in Southwestern Ontario. Our breeding approach is unique; we own a well-loved 17 lb. poodle male, who we selectively breed with our own and other families' females. These could be F1 Goldendoodles or Golden Retrievers resulting in F1 and F1b Mini Goldendoodle Puppies. Our approach allows the dogs to thrive in a family-oriented setting, often on picturesque farms or in the countryside. Our male poodle is cherished as part of our family, sharing our home with two dogs —a Golden Retriever and a Border Collie— owned by our two sons. While our specialty is mini Goldendoodles, we occasionally have litters of Cockapoos and Borderdoodles as well.

To ensure the highest health standards, our male had undergone comprehensive DNA genetic testing and has been examined by a certified canine ophthalmologist. The females involved in our breeding program also receive thorough DNA testing, ensuring both health and genetic compatibility.
